iHeir-FP foaming antibacterial agent is a transparent liquid with high activity. It is easy to be adsorbed by bacteria and viruses. It acts on the cell wall system or cell membrane system of bacteria, fungi and algae, combines with cell phospholipid compounds, quickly breaks down their membrane system, makes the intracellular substance flow out, and inhibits the activities of some enzymes attached to the cell membrane. In addition, the formation of polymer blocks the respiratory channel of microorganisms and suffocates them to death, so as to achieve the bacteria killing effect. At the same time, its high molecular polymer structure can improve its effective activity, which makes its bactericidal efficacy much higher than other general antibacterial agents, and the bacteria are not easy to produce drug resistance. iHeir-FP is a broad-spectrum antibacterial agent, which can kill Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, fungi and yeasts.
iHeir-FP foaming antibacterial agent can be used for a long time with low toxicity. A series of toxicity tests were carried out on animals, such as acute oral toxicity test, acute skin irritation test, micronucleus test of mouse bone marrow polychromatic erythrocytes, sperm deformity test, accumulative toxicity test and skin allergy test.
Acute oral toxicity test
The oral LD50 of male and female mice was more than 5000mg / kg body weight. iHeir-FP belongs to the actual non-toxic level.
Skin stimulation test of rabbits
The mean value of the integral of iHeir-FP foaming antibacterial agent to skin stimulation was 0, indicating that the disinfectant was practically non irritating to the skin of rabbits.
There was no significant difference in the micronucleus cell rate and PCE/NCE ratio between the experimental group and the negative control group, but there was significant difference between the experimental group and the positive control group (P < 0.01), which indicated that the disinfectant had no micronucleus inducing effect on the polychromatic cells of mouse bone marrow.
Sperm deformity test in mice
The aberrance rate of sperm cells in the three groups was 1.68, 1.77 and 1.90 respectively, the rate of the negative control group was 1.88 and the difference between the two groups was not significant (P < 0.05); The rate of aberrance of positive control was 9.80, and the difference between the sperm cell aberrations of each experimental group and the positive control group was significant (P < 0.01). The disinfectant had no teratogenic effect on the sperm of male mice.
Accumulative toxicity test After 20 days of administration, there was no death in mice, and the accumulation coefficient k > 5. According to the accumulation toxicity grading standard , PHMB disinfectant had weak accumulation toxicity.
Skin allergy test
The sensitization rate of guinea pigs in the experimental group was 0%, and there was no skin allergy, indicating that the disinfectant had no sensitizing effect.
Compared with the traditional skin disinfectant, polyhexamethylene biguanide compound disinfectant has low effective use concentration, good stability, no toxicity, no stimulation, no mutagenicity, no micronucleus effect, and no teratogenic effect on male mouse sperm. iHeir-FP foaming antibacterial agent can be directly added to the foaming raw materials in the same way as the toner. After uniform mixing,operate according to the normal procedure. The recommended addition amount is 1% – 2% (calculated according to the total weight of the foaming plastic).
